Fantasia Barrino
“Baby Mama”
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
This goes out to all my baby mamas
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
I got love for all my baby mamas
[Verse 1]
It's about time we had our own song
Don't know what took so long
Cuz now a days
it's like a badge of honer
To be a baby mama
I see ya payin' ya bills
I see ya workin' ya job
I see ya goin' to school
And girl I know it's hard
And even though ya fed up
With makin' beds up
Girl, keep ya head up
All my
[chorus]
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
This goes out to all my baby mamas
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
I got love for all my baby mamas
I see you get that support check in the mail
Ya open it and your like "What the Hell"
You say "This ain't even half of daycare"
Sayin to yourself "This shit ain't fair"
And all my girls who don't get no help
Who gotta do everything by yourself
Remeber: What don't kill you can only make you stronger
My baby mama...
[chorus]
Cuz we the backbone (of the hood)
I always knew that (that we could)
We can go anywhere, we can do anything
I know we can make it if we dream
And I think it should be a holiday
For single mothers tryin' to make a way
But until then
Here is your song
Show love to my....
[chorus]
B-A-B-Y M-A-M-A
This goes out to all my baby mamas
This goes out to all my baby mamas

Debate: How many more centuries will blacks blame Whites instead of their own self-defeating culture for their problems?
Sub-debate: Rap sucks.

Illegitimate place to be
In a packet in a lavatory
Die little baby screaming
Body screaming fucking bloody mess

He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow
Most people looked at him with terror and with fear
But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear
He could preach the bible like a preacher
Full of ecstacy and fire
But he also was the kind of teacher
Women would desire
RA RA RASPUTIN
Lover of the Russian queen
There was a cat that really was gone
RA RA RASPUTIN
Russia's greatest love machine
It was a shame how he carried on
He ruled the Russian land and never mind the czar
But the kasachok he danced really wunderbar
In all affairs of state he was the man to please
But he was real great when he had a girl to squeeze
For the queen he was no wheeler dealer
Though she'd heard the things he'd done
She believed he was a holy healer
Who would heal her son
(Spoken:)
But when his drinking and lusting and his hunger
for power became known to more and more people,
the demands to do something about this outrageous
man became louder and louder.
"This man's just got to go!" declared his enemies
But the ladies begged "Don't you try to do it, please"
No doubt this Rasputin had lots of hidden charms
Though he was a brute they just fell into his arms
Then one night some men of higher standing
Set a trap, they're not to blame
"Come to visit us" they kept demanding
And he really came
RA RA RASPUTIN
Lover of the Russian queen
They put some poison into his wine
RA RA RASPUTIN
Russia's greatest love machine
He drank it all and he said "I feel fine"
RA RA RASPUTIN
Lover of the Russian queen
They didn't quit, they wanted his head
RA RA RASPUTIN
Russia's greatest love machine
And so they shot him till he was dead
(Spoken:) Oh, those Russians...

This looks to me more like a song about single mothers and deadbeat fathers than blacks vs. whites. Where the hell does it mention white people?
(edit: ah. Kim slow, Kim not get enough coffee.)
Look, this isn't self-defeatism, this shit goes on all the time. It's not the culture of black, it's the culture of poverty. This song could as easily apply to a poor Hispanic, a poor white, a poor Native American.
Childbirth at a young age, unprotected sex, deadbeat fathers that want to play but can't or won't pay. How do black people have a corner on that?
I live in the rural Midwest, buddy, trust me, poor whites have children out of wedlock too.
In short, it's easy to spit on a position you think is 'below' you, or that you think you'll never be in. A single mother busting her ass to take on the burden of raising a child by herself is better than your arrogant ass has much hope of ever being, obviously.

Real nigra music.
If Fats Waller could hear this, he'd throw up.If Duke Ellington could hear this, he'd shake his head and throw up.
If Louis Armstrong could hear this, he'd laugh, and then throw up.
If Thelonious Monk could hear this, he'd throw up if he was paying attention, which he probably wouldn't be.
If Charlie Parker could hear this, he'd throw up, if he wasn't nodding off.
If Miles Davis could hear this, he'd tell them to fuck off then reinterpret the rythmn in a 45 minute long improvisation that would redefine the genre.
Let's face it, a lot of modern hip-hop/R&B culture makes Ike Turner look like Alan Alda.

Unfortunately stupid seems to breed stupid, and your parents (evidently also your aunt and uncle) didn't teach you any better than this.
I was hoping you were someone's idea of a joke, but after seeing your Livejournal I suppose that someone was God.
The only thing that scares me more than the fact that someone trained you to use a computer...is the fact that the tone of the replies wasn't more rejecting of your excuse for a thought.
I hope your silly ass keeps posting here, because I need a handy caveman to take my irritations out on. Guys like you should come in cracker jack boxes.
No pun intended.
